Following the success of the previous episodes of the ‘Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate’, the next edition will take place on 9th July 2026, and will focus on Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) and cross-border cooperation.

The session will focus on Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) and its potential to strengthen cross-border cooperation by empowering local actors to jointly design and implement place-based solutions to shared territorial challenges.
Through the perspectives of practitioners and experts working on the ground, the debate will explore how local actors, municipalities, and communities can jointly design place-based solutions to shared territorial challenges, and how borders can become stronger spaces of collaboration.
The debate will present concrete examples of cross-border CLLD in practice, share findings from the OECD IMPACT pilots, and explore the added value of CLLD for regional development ahead of the next programming period.
