Following the success of the previous episodes of the ‘Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate’, the next edition will take place on 11 December 2025, and will be focused on how cross-border cooperation can strengthen resilience in EU border regions, particularly in the context of crisis preparedness, joint planning, and coordinated responses.

The discussion explored key challenges faced by border regions, lessons learned from pilot initiatives, and the added value of cross-border approaches in building long-term regional resilience.
This debate will present the results of the Resilient Borders Initiative and showcas two Pilot projects, one from each thematic lot:
- Cross-Border Spatial Planning
- Cross-Border Crisis Management

The new edition of the ‘Beyond Borders: Breakfast Debate’ will highlight the new methods of cross-border cooperation fostered by the beneficiaries, the tools and strategies developed and implemented by the Pilot project partners to enhance cross-border and regional resilience, and the results of the Pilot projects and their anticipated impacts.
